Hi, I'm Tony. I'm a British headshot photographer, based in Los Angeles. I'm in the Studio City area and most shoots happen here, but I'm also happy to come to where you are and shoot if that makes your shoot day less stressful.
I'm an actor too. So I get it. (At least) 95% of actors who turn up for a shoot tell me how they hate having their picture taken. They leave with some variation of “I actually really enjoyed that!”. My favourite recent comment was that it was like shooting "with an old friend"... The shoot is relaxed, unhurried, and – believe it or not – fun! We shoot against scenes that fit your look and casting type - because your headshot should be as unique as you are! We have a little chat - maybe over a coffee (ahh, delicious coffee!) - have a look at what clothes you brought to get the perfect look for your looks, and then we take some awesome headshots... I shoot both theatrical and commercial shots, and we have the option of shooting outside, with this great city as our (blurred out) backdrop, and/or inside (where the air conditioning and coffee is!) against those 'on trend' plain/seamless/colourful commercial backdrops!
After the shoot. I send you a (large) online gallery of shots from the day. You look through and choose your favourites – you can share the gallery with agents, friends, moms! - its usually a tough decision, so I'm happy to offer my opinion too, and reduce the gallery to a 'shortlist' if needed, before making your final decisions. Finally, I retouch your chosen headshots (one retouch per look is included in the cost of every shoot), you upload them to LA Casting/Actors Access and proceed to book a ton of work!
Email (firstname.lastname@example.org), call (323 872 0600), or click the envelope looking contact icon thingy below for more information, if you'd like to book a shoot, or just to chat about what you need. I'm always happy to have a pre shoot/pre booking consultation, via email, phone, or in person - any excuse for a coffee! Situated in Studio City, right off the 101 and Laurel Canyon. Easy to get to, from wherever you're coming from, and easy to find (and free!) street parking!
